Trains run Leeds to/from Armathwaite

Train services now run as far north as Armathwaite.

An amended timetable has been introduced. Train times Leeds to/from Appleby are unaffected but there are revised timings for journeys Appleby to/from Armathwaite. Bus connections are in operation Carlisle to/from Armathwaite and Appleby.

Only one platform will be used for all trains at Armathwaite, Lazonby and Langwathby . Red advisory signs are displayed at these stations indicating that the platform normally used for journeys towards Leeds will NOT be in use

Northern’s updated timetable is available here
