The Settle-Carlisle experience can be part of a short-break or day trip and the reasons to travel with us are many – sightseeing from the train; walking in the Dales or Eden Valley; shopping or a night-out in Leeds, Skipton or Carlisle or a birthday or anniversary treat.
Our office is based at Appleby and with our extensive local knowledge, we are able to provide you with a wealth of information to assist you arrange your group event.
Your journey can start and end at any of the stations between Carlisle and Leeds (or further afield) and the cost will depend on the journey taken and the date of travel. Discounted rates are available to groups of ten or more fare-paying passengers.
Group travel on the Settle-Carlisle Railway is administered by the Settle Carlisle Railway Development Company in partnership with the train operating company, Northern Rail.
